What happens if we move to a new salon or change owners before the end of the agreement?
All of our accounts are fully transferable for FREE so if you move to a new salon you can transfer it to a new booth renter taking your spot. The benefit to processing with SalonCredit is that if you have to change salons you can take your account with you and get another FREE terminal.
What can you do if we are in a contract with our current credit/debit card processor?
We have a program to help with your cancellation fees. You will need to fax in two months previous processing statements so we can view your monthly volume.
- If Visa/MasterCard monthly volume is $10,000 or more: 100% of previous processor's termination fee, up to $295 is covered
- If Visa/MasterCard monthly volume is $5,000-$9,999 or more: 50% of previous processor's termination fee, up to $195 is covered
- If Visa/MasterCard monthly volume is less than $5,000: No reimbursement of previous processor's termination fee is covered
Do I have to run a certain dollar volume per month thru the machine or monthly minimum?
SalonCredit.com has a two different plans. The first plan involves $0 setup and $0 yearly fee but you will have a $25 monthly minimum. This means that your discount percentage fees must equal $25 or greater or we will charge you the difference. For example if your discount fees after we take out our percentage on each transaction are $10, you didn't meet your $25 minimum so all you pay is the difference of $15. Either way you will be paying $25.
The other plan we have has a $50 setup fee and a $50 yearly fee. With this service we can drop your monthly minimum down to $0. This allows you to have a low volume processing month and you only end up paying our monthly service fee. A general rule of thumb is if you process less than $1000/month you will save more money on this plan.
When are our fees taken out?
The fees associated with the % discount can be taken out at the end of the month along with the monthly fees or out of each transaction.
